2.14.8 TELEPHONE LINE CHECK
The MP120 control unit may check the presence of the control unit tone on the telephone line to which it is
connected, in order to make sure that the connection is operating perfectly; if this is not the case, the MP120
control unit will send an alarm signal. WARNING! If the control unit is the first unit of the telephone line (as
recommended), each line check will cause any telephone in progress to be interrupted.
Possible settings for the “Line check” function include:
•
No
, i.e. no check will be carried out to verify that the telephone line is available.
•
24-h
, i.e. the telephone line availability check will always be carried out, every 15 minutes, even when the
system is OFF.
•
ON partial (OnPart)
, i.e. the telephone line availability check will be carried out when the system status
changes and then every 15 minutes, only with the antitheft system ON, even in a partial way.
•
ON total (OnTot)
, i.e. the telephone line availability check will be carried out when the system status changes
and then every 15 minutes, only with the antitheft system fully ON.
For each of the four settings you may also establish whether, in addition to the signals on the display and the
