2.9 KEYS
The MP120 system may use two different actuation/deactivation keys: electronic key DK20 (with the DK2000M
inserter) and transponder key DK30 (with the DK3000M inserter).
2.9.1 DK20
The MP120 system can manage up to 16 DK20 keys, each with a unique code. Key features:
•
an identification label up to 8 characters long (e.g. the user’s name) may be matched to each key;
•
the key may be disabled, if necessary;
•
the sectors to be controlled may be freely correlated to each key;
•
the key is re-programmable, i.e. the identification code may be changed at any time. The code is chosen
randomly by the control unit during programming.
Refer to paragraph
3.11 KEYS
for DK20 key programming and configuration.
2.9.2 DK30
The MP120 system can manage up to 16 DK30 keys, each with a unique factory-set code that cannot be changed
(over 280,000 billion combinations are possible). Key features::
•
an identification label up to 8 characters long (e.g. the user’s name) may be matched to each key;
•
the key may be disabled, if necessary;
•
the sectors to be controlled may be freely correlated to each key.
Refer to paragraph
3.11 KEYS
for DK30 key programming and configuration.
