Test cabinet (option)
The testing instrument can be operated in connection with a test cabinet.

PC interface.

Test cabinet connection:
The high-voltage tester has to be disconnected from the mains
(pull plug) before connecting the test cabinet!
The connecting cables of the test cabinet are put into the rear HV ports of
the test unit. The control cable for the cabinet is connected to the D-SUB
connector X7 (DA interface).
Principle of operation in the two start mode:
The safety circuit (SK1) is closed by closing the protective hood. Pin 22
(U
E
) is connected to pin 21 (SK1). At the same time the 1st start signal
for the test is given. Pin 2 (SET) is connected to pin 22 via the auxiliary
contact on the test cabinet (magnetic switch).
The second start must come from the computer via the PC interface (HV
is applied - see also chapter 3.12).
Suitable test cabinets from ELABO:
94-3A series - manual protective hood
94-3B series - automatic protective hood (pulse)
94-3C series - double test cabinet
