3 Settings
3.1 Adjust auxiliary compactor height
Before each paving operating, check the auxiliary compactor adjustment.
The heights of the auxiliary compactor
sliding plates (A) must be adjusted indi-
vidually to the prevailing paving condi-
tions.
Depending on the prevailing paving situ-
ation, the auxiliary compactor heights
are adjusted uniformly to 0.5-1 mm
above the sliding plate level across the
whole screed.
The adjustment has a major influence on
the paving results.
If correction should be necessary, pro-
ceed as follows:

Two adjustment points per auxiliary compactor unit!
Adjust tamper lower:
- Loosen screw (1)
- Turn screw (2) clockwise until the de-
sired setting is achieved
- After making the adjustment, retighten
screw (1) under all circumstances.
Adjust tamper higher:
- Loosen screw (2)
- Turn screw (3) counter-clockwise until
the setting is correct.
- After making the adjustment, retighten
screw (2) under all circumstances.
