Entering PIN CODE function for overriding

purposes

This function allows the rider to "temporarily" turn

on the motorcycle in case of HF (Hands Free) system

"malfunction".

If the motorcycle cannot be turned on using the

normal starter button, press the "emergency" Hands

Free button (7), lifting lid (8), to activate the

function.

After pressing the button, the instrument panel

activates the page for entering the override code.

Refer to the “Restoring motorcycle operation via the

PIN CODE” procedure page 128.

Important

If this procedure is necessary in order to start

the motorcycle, contact an Authorised Ducati

Service Centre as soon as possible to fix the problem.
