7. SELF-SERVICE
With self service mode is possible to save automatically the weight data of all the trucks.
Follow the procedure below:
1.
Unload the platform
2.
Place the truck on the scale
3.
Pass the badge or insert coins/money; the input weigh will be registered
4.
Unload the platform
5.
Load/unload the truck
6.
Place the truck on the scale
7.
Pass the badge or insert coins/money; the output weigh will be registered
8.
Unload the platform
At the end of the day you can see a report. That report is different depending to the selected solution: with Weimonitor the
data are stored directly on PC, with USBC an operator must connect the Stick to the PC, or with a direct connection from
the scale to the PC (it is possible to get a file through Weighconsole). You can to configure or modify the particular printouts
depending by desired needs. Referred to chapter n. 9 “
programming the printouts
” for the printouts customization
.
7.1 CONFIGURATION
In order to be able to use the SELF-SERVICE E-BOX one needs to set the parameters in the
F.ModE >> totAL >> SELF.C
step
.
This step is visible only if
F.ModE >> totAL >> A.inout
is enabled or if the
COIN
protocol is enabled for the coin box
on COMPC or COMAUX.
Once entered in SELF.C. the following parameters are to be configured:
<< r.S.WGht >>
WEIGHT RANGE TO HIDE
:
threshold beyond which an authentication is required through badge or
money in order to be able to view and print the weight. Once this threshold has been exceeded, the "-----" dashes will be
displayed in the place of the weight. Once the vehicle has been selected (for example with the badge) or the required
money has been inserted (in case of coin box) the weight on the scale will be displayed for a maximum time equal to the
seconds configured in the MAX TIME OPERATION END step.
<< dF.WGht >>
WEIGHT DIFFERENCE FOR END WEIGHING: the value that is set in this step is equal to how much the
weight must vary to execute the weigh once again without repassing by zero.
USER EXAMPLE:
If there are two in trucks in queue, and at the end of the weight of the first, the second will not give the time to the scale to
repass by zero. So it is necessary to set this step for example at 200. So it will not necessary that the scale repasses by
zero. But is enough that at the end of the weighing the weigh varies from 200 kg.
<< r.Auto0 >>
WEIGHT RANGE FOR AUTOZERO: threshold (in absolute value) within which if the weight is different than
zero, it remains stable for the time configured in the STABILITY TIME step and persists for the time configured in the
AUTOZERO TIME step, the instrument executes the automatic zero.
EXAMPLE OF USE: once 40 kg threshold is set, STABILITY TIME = 5 s, AUTOZERO TIME = 10 s. If the weight on the
scale is 10 kg and it is stable, it will automatically be cleared after 10 seconds.
<< t.Auto0 >>
TIME AUTOZERO: time in seconds which must pass before one can execute the autozero procedure (step
conditioned by the stability).
<< t.Stabi >>
TIME STABILITY: time in seconds in which there must be the exact same weight in order to be able to
declare it stable.
<< t.End >>
TIME END OPERATION: maximum time after which the operation is finished. If an operation is made and the
truck remains on the scale, after this time the weigh is in any case declared done and the authentication is asked once
again.
