Connecting To A Dual-Cable, Cable TV Network
On dual-cable, cable TV networks, one cable handles the forward signals (signals orig-
inating and being transmitted from the headend), and, the other cable handles the return
signals (signals originating and being transmitted from the ChannelWorks Bridge).
Your cable TV operator will tell you which cable is for forward signals and which cable
is for return signals.
Referring to Figure 4-4, and continuing from step 1 of the Start Up procedure, connect
the cable TV network’s forward cable to the ChannelWorks Bridge RX (receive
)
port. Then, connect the cable TV network’s return cable to the ChannelWorks Bridge
TX (transmit
) port.
