Caution - The Ethernet Selection Switch must be correctly set in order for the unit to
work properly. Also, the unit does not work properly if you attempt to connect more
than one Ethernet cable to the unit at any time.
Achtung - Der Ethernet-Wahlschalter muß richtig eingestellt sein, damit das Gerät ein-
wandfrei funktionieren kann. Zudem kann das Gerät nicht einwandfrei funktionieren,
wenn Sie gleichzeitig mehr als ein Ethernet-Kabel anschließen.

fonctionne de manière adéquate. L'unité ne fonctionnera pas correctement non plus, si
vous essayez d'y connecter plus d'un câble Ethernet.
Precaución - El conmutador de selección Ethernet debe estar en la posición correcta
para que la unidad funcione adecuadamente. Por otro lado, si se conectan simultánea-
mente varios cables Ethernet a la unidad, ésta no funcionará bien.
Continue with the following steps after completing your specific Ethernet and cable TV
connection procedures:
4. Turn the power switch on the unit on.
5. The Power LED on the front of the unit activates within approximately 3
seconds of turning the power switch on, as does the fan. Refer to Figure 4-2 for
the location of the Power LED and for other ChannelWorks Bridge LEDs. If these
things do not happen, turn off the power and refer to Chapter 5.
6. After approximately 30 seconds, the Status LED on the front of the unit
blinks slowly. This indicates that the unit has passed its internal diagnostics and is
ready to boot its software. If this does not happen, turn the unit off and refer to
Chapter 5.
7. After approximately 40 seconds, the Status LED blinks rapidly. This means
the unit has loaded its software correctly and is ready to become operational. If it
does not blink, refer to Chapter 5.
