TDM Port Types
The gateway supports multiple types of TDM ports. The number of physical ports and channels
supported vary.
Table 15 shows the possibilities:

Name
- Defines the name of the trunk group. This name is referenced by routing rules that use the
trunk group. Each group must have a unique name.
Selection Direction
- Specifies the method of channel selection when selecting channels from the
trunk group for outbound requests:

Descending = Channels are selected from highest channel number to lowest.
–
Ascending = Channels are selected from lowest channel number to highest.
