6.1 How to Program the Adjustable
Frequency Drive
6.1.1 Quick Set-up Parameters
0-01 Language
Option: Function:
Defines the language to be used in the
display. The adjustable frequency drive can
be delivered with four different language
packages. English and German are
included in all packages. English cannot be
erased or manipulated.

Select the motor frequency value from the
motor nameplate data. If a value different
from 50 Hz or 60 Hz is selected, it is
necessary to adapt the load independent
settings in
1-50 Motor Magnetization at Zero
Speed to 1-53 Model Shift Frequency . For 87
Hz operation with 230/400 V motors, set the
nameplate data for 230 V/50 Hz. Adapt
4-13 Motor Speed High Limit [RPM] and
parameter 3-03 Maximum Reference to the 87
Hz application.
