To Define the IP Classification Fields:
1. Display
the
IP Classification Fields
window.
2. Complete the fields. The fields are the same as the IP Classification Fields described
above.
3. Click to update the device. When the
Status
field displays “
Finished
!”, the IP
Classification Fields are saved to the device.
IP Rules Table
The
IP Rules Table
allows you to define the filters that determine which network traffic is
managed. The
IP Rules Table
contains two types of filters:
Filters that determine how packets are matched to a rule. For example, the
Protocol, ToS, Source Port, Destination Port, Input Ports, and Output Ports fields.
Filters that determine what forwarding action is taken on packets. For example,
the Condition and Actions fields.
Note:
The fields that appear in the IP Rules Table reflect the
IP Classification Fields that were
selected.
Note:
Rules cannot be added to the IP Rules Table if the IP Classification Fields have not been
defined.
