Multicast

Indicates that the route was explicitly added to the multicast
RIB by the routing protocol.
IPM Route Next Hop
The
IPM Route Next Hop
window
contains information regarding the next-hop for forwarding
multicast packets on outgoing interfaces. Each entry in the
IPM Route Next Hop
table refers to
the next-hop of a specific source to a specific multicast group address.
To display the IPM Route Next Hop table:

The
IPM Route Next Hop
window displays the following fields:
Group –
Identifies the IP multicast group from which the multicast packet is
being forwarded.
Source –
Identifies the source IP address of the multicast packet being forwarded.
Source Mask –
Masks all or part of the source IP address.
IfIndex –
Identifies the port number of the next-hop.
Next Hop Address –
Indicates the IP addresses of the next-hop. This may be
identical to the Group value. However, some ports may have multiple next-hop
addresses from a single outgoing interface.
State –
Indicates if the port and next-hop are being used to forward multicast
packets. The possible values are:

Pruned
–
The port and next hop are not being used to forward multicast
packets.
