Network Connectivity Testing
Each of the four physical GbE input ports will respond to PING. Since the GbE
input ports are not configurable for default gateway, a static route to the source
network of the PING must be added to the GbE port to facilitate PING responses
over layer 3 networks. Static routes can be added via the GUI, using the
System/ARP & Routes page.
Configuring Static Routes
To Configure Static Routes

Navigate to the
System/ARP & Routes
page.
Result:
The
ARP & Routes
window is displayed.

In the
Route Table
window, use the drop-down box to select desired GbE input.

In the
Static Route Entry
window, enter the IP Address and Subnet Mask for the
network or host.

Click
Add
to add the static route.

Click
Save
.
