VEINVIEWER FLEX USER GUIDE

Image Capture*: Captures a time stamped static image of the projected
vein image and saves the image as a BMP file on VeinViewer Flex. The
captured image can be transferred to a PC via a USB connection. Refer to
the USB connection section in the PC Software in CHAPTER SEVEN:
LICENSES, SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE UPGRADES.

IMAGE CAPTURE PROCEDURE
Press the Image Capture Button, located on the Control Panel.
VeinViewer Flex DOES NOT capture patient information. The
captured images are date and time stamped ONLY.
VeinViewer Flex allows for 200 images to be captured at a given time.
The oldest image will be automatically deleted from VeinViewer Flex
when memory reaches capacity and a new image is captured.
When Image Capture is engaged, it may take several
seconds for the
image to be saved to VeinViewer Flex. During this period, the Image
Capture icon will be displayed on the image border rendering the
keypad and its related functions inoperable. VeinViewer will still be
able to image subcutaneous blood patterns on the surface of the skin
during this time period. Keypad functionality will resume once the
image captured icon disappears.
