VEINVIEWER FLEX USER GUIDE
For your convenience, VeinViewer Flex is ready for use once the fully charged
Battery is installed; however, Christie recommends connecting VeinViewer Flex to
a PC connection prior to operating the device to ensure the date and time on the
device are set correctly. See CHAPTER SEVEN: LICENSE, SOFTWARE AND
FIRMWARE UPGRADE.
S-MOUNT SETUP
WARNING: Please make sure that the Clamp, S-Mount and
VeinViewer Flex are properly secured after installation,
following ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE
USE; otherwise serious injury or loss of life could result.
WARNING: DO NOT place, hang, or otherwise apply weight
to the S-Mount, IV pole or stand system when supporting
VeinViewer Flex. This may result in improper device loading
and could result in serious injury.
C-CLAMP: The C-Clamp is provided to attach VeinViewer Flex to FLAT
surfaces such as a table or counter top.
To ensure longevity of the S-Mount DO NOT bend the arm smaller
than a 4 in. (10 cm) radius during operation of VeinViewer Flex.
CAUTION: The C-Clamp shall be mounted to a flat surface
with a desk thickness of 0.5 in. (1.3 cm) to 2.5 in. (6.3 cm).
DO NOT mount the C-Clamp to other surfaces beyond what
is indicated in the manual as this could affect the safety and
effectiveness of VeinViewer Flex.
