CHAPTER FIVE: START-UP PROCEDURE

VEINVIEWER FLEX USER GUIDE

The AC Power Adapter allows you to operate VeinViewer Flex continuously
without the use of the Battery.

If operating by Battery power, skip step 1.

1. Connect the AC Power Adapter to the VeinViewer Flex Power Inlet.

2. Plug the other end into an electrical outlet.

3. Press and release the Power Button located on the Control Panel. The Status

Indicator in the Control Panel should illuminate solid green when VeinViewer
Flex is powered ON.

The VeinViewer Flex Battery is NOT charging when VeinViewer Flex is
plugged in via the AC Power Adapter. See the Battery Charging
Section in CHAPTER FOUR: VEINVIEWER FLEX SETUP.

The use of the AC Power Adapter is recommended when you
connect VeinViewer Flex to a PC.

POWERING OFF VEINVIEWER FLEX

1. Press and release the Power Button again to power down VeinViewer Flex.

The Status Indicator will turn OFF.

2. Unplug the AC Power Adapter from the electrical outlet.

3. Remove the AC Power Adapter from VeinViewer Flex Power inlet.
