Translation: Handling of disposals. Used consumables and expendables must be discarded by the
customer as industrial waste, in accordance with the laws as well the regulations of local
government.
RoHS (China)
The Environmental Protection Use Period (EPUP) applicable for the machine designated for
deliveries to the Peoples Republic of China is 20 years. This EPUP, which does not include
consumables or expendables, does not affect any warranty that is provided for the system and
may not be construed or interpreted as a separate guarantee for the machine.

Canon brand products sold in Vietnam market comply with following Circular and Decision -
"Circular No.30/1011/TT-BCT dated August 10, 2011 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade
stipulating temporarily the permissible content limitation of some toxic chemicals in the
electronic, electrical products" - Decision No.4693/QD-BCT correcting Circular 30/2011/TT-BCT.

• REACH regulation (EC No 1907/2006) article 33 requires information to be communicated to
customers/end users about the presence of SVHC substances included in the REACH candidate
list when such substances are above the threshold of 0.1% in articles. If such information has

Energy consumption (All countries)
• The energy consumption of Imaging Equipment can be determined using the TEC procedure.
This procedure was developed under the supervision of the United States Environmental
Protection Agency. TEC stands for Typical Electricity Consumption. The TEC value of a product
represents the energy consumed in a week under standardised conditions. For the Arizona
1300 Series the TEC-value is listed in the Product Safety Data Sheet.
