TYPICAL — FILL WITH GREASE AND SET IN PLACE
Apply 6 m L of grease to MAG side outer bearing.
NOTE: If replaced with new bearing, do not apply
grease as new bearings co m e with grease already
applied.
At crankshaft installation, position drive pins as il-
lustrated.

Pour 5 0 m L (2 U.S. oz) of injection oil in the pan
under central gear to lubricate pu m p gearing as
per photo.

IMPORTANT: T he total asse m bly sequence, in-
cluding sealing co m pound spreading, screwing
and torquing of bolts according to the proper
sequence,
m ust be perfor m ed within 10 m inutes.
Do not wait between each bolt torquing. All bolts
m ust be torqued in a row.
Before screwing both parts of crankcase, seal it
with sealing co
m pound (P/N 420 297 906). Make
sure surfaces are clean and degreased before ap-
plying sealing co
m pound.
Spread a sea m of 1.2 mm (1/16 i n ) m axi m u m in
dia m eter on surface of lower crankcase half.

As far as possible, sealing co m pound m ust be
applied in one run to avoid any risks of leakage
through the crankcase.
