Re m ove seat, refer to BODY.
Re m ove fuel tank cap.
Re m ove filler neck plastic nut using special tool
(P/N 5 29 03 5 8 91).

Re m ove both sides fuel tank alu m inu m braces:
– by re m oving and discarding lower M 8 x 20 T orx
screws (2 on each side);
– and by re m oving upper M 8 flanged hexagonal
bolts (2 on each side) and discarding their nuts.
