TL - Read / set time for display backlight
Syntax: <ESC>TL [ (n | ON) ]<CR>
Description:
Reading or setting the time after which the instrument
backlight is switched off if the instrument is not used.
The setting range is from 5 seconds to 60 seconds. If
ON is given as parameter, the backlight is perma-
nently on if activated.
Example:
<ESC>TL<CR> Read time for backlight
switch-off
10S<CR><LF> Result: 10 s
<ESC>TL 20<CR> Increase switch-off time to
20 seconds
TM - Read / set dwell time
Syntax: <ESC>TM [n]<CR>
Description:
Set the measurement time in seconds or read active
setting
Range:
0 to 99 .
Example:
TM 5<CR> Set dwell time to 5 seconds
TM<CR> Read measurement time:
5S<CR><LF> Result: 5 seconds
)
Warning:
When you change the dwell time, the active measure-
ment set will be terminated beforehand.
