The Logical Unit Configuration menus for Printers and Auxiliary Printers are shown below. The default
values are also shown. To access these menus, enter PRT or AUX at the
Enter Logical Unit Type (DSPLY)
prompt.
1. Associated Sync Port
Valid values are: 0 (for Port 0) or 1 (for Port 1)
The value defined here lets the LinkUp 5294 know which physical synchronous port the LU under
configuration is assigned to. The 32 LUs available on the LinkUp 5294 may be assigned in whatever way
your application requires. For example, if you require two synchronous ports to emulate two remote
controllers, you may divide the LUs between the two in any combination you wish.
