3. There are 8 option switches located inside the Viewpoint on the main printed circuit board. The
cover must be removed to set them. The switch group is labeled as S2 and is a few inches up from
and to the right of the RS-232 connectors.

4. Replace the cover, reconnect the AC power cord, and connect the terminal to the LinkUp 5294 with
a modem or direct-connect cable, as appropriate.
NOTE
The auxiliary port on the Viewpoint terminal can be used with the LinkUp 5294 Auxiliary
Printer facility.
Use of X-ON as the flow control from the LinkUp 5294 may cause garbled screens doing
large insert or delete operations on this terminal. For this reason, we recommend that you
select NONE as the flow control from the LinkUp 5294 ports uisng this terminal.
The function keys available on some Regent terminals are not currently supported.
