VT52 Emulation (w/o Numeric Keypad) Terminal Setup
To support those terminals and software packages providing emulation of a VT52 terminal without a
numeric keypad, the VT52X Terminal Module was designed. The setup of any such terminal depends on
the particular terminal being used. Please refer to the manufacturer’s user’s manual or contact your
supplier.
F.30 VT100 Terminal Module - DEC VT100
The following list identifies the key sequences defined for the VT100 Terminal Module. .
1. Press <CTRL> concurrently with the indicated alpha key.
2. Press <ESC> prior to pressing the indicated alpha key.
3. NK indicates the indicated key is found in the Numeric Keypad at the lower right of the keyboard.
The LinkUp 5294 sets this keypad to Alternate Keypad Mode. (Refer to the ANSI Terminal Module
for VT100 terminals and compatibles complying with the ANSI Standard 3.64, but without a numeric
keypad.)
4. The last position of the screen (Row 24, Column 80) is designed not to display a character. This
prevents automatic scrolling.
