LINKUP 5294 WITH DL5294 FIRMWARE

Direct Connection:

1. Connect the RS-232 cable to the back of the Displayphone at the port marked RS-232.

2. Turn the terminal on.

3. Press Service.

4. Select 3 - Local Data Port.

Local RS-232 Data Port should be ON.

Set baud rates

Press Exit

WIDTH MODE

DUPLEX

PARITY

(set to match converter)

Press Exit to store data.

5. Press Screen key.

NOTE

The maximum baud rate for the Displayphone when directly connected is 9600.

6.Connect the terminal to the LinkUp 5294 with a modem or direct connect cable, as appropriate.
