Max. Basis Weight
For non-linear calibration curves you have to enter the maximum
weight per area and you have to select the function cubic for calcu-
lation. These square or cubic characteristic curves require absorp-
tion coefficients a2 and a3 in addition to the absorption coefficients
a1. This kind of calibration curve is required only in rare cases. In
such cases you then have to enter the maximum weight per area
at maximum load in g/cm
2
prior to calculation. Without this infor-
mation, you will get the following error message when you try to
perform a cubic calculation: "Enter weight per area".
