Test menu 5: Test communication
Testing communication via the BMS bus. In order to do this, a fault message is simulated. This alarm
message is sent to evaluator devices (e.g. alarm indicator and operator panels, MK800, SMO…).
Check that these devices are responding to the alarm message as requested. Select a channel:
1. Use the "
" arrow button to go to the channel setting. Press "
↵
".
2. Use the arrow buttons to select the channel for which the alarm message is to be simulated.
Press "
↵
" to confirm your selection.
The alarm status will change from
(no alarm) to
(alarm). If the alarm status is not dis-
played, then the settings made for ATICS® will not permit simulation of this alarm. Example:
"Channel 5: MANUAL MODE" is selected.
The
ATICS® stays in this menu until it is exited by pressing the "ESC" button.
During this time, all the alarms on the BMS bus have the word "TEST".
