9.3 Maintenance
The ATICS® system does not contain any parts which must be maintained. Despite this, the intervals
specified for periodic verification should be adhered to. We also recommend regularly checking the
Allen screws at the ATICS® and the Torx® screws of the connectors on the incoming and outgoing
lines of the transfer switching device to make sure they are tight.
9.4 Cleaning
ATICS®should be cleaned only with a clean, dry, soft and antistatic cloth.
9.5 Operation with bypass switch
The ATICS-BP-… bypass switch makes possible parallel supply from Line 3. The ATICS® can be switched
as required or replaced without interrupting the power on Line 3.
Risk of short-circuit if the "Enable Bypass" light is ignored.
If the ATICS® is not on the line to which the bypass switch is connected, a short-
circuit is likely to occur between Line 1 and Line 2.
The bypass switch may only be operated when the green "Enable Bypass" light
lights up.
