5. Slowly feed the document (slide the document forward) into the scanner’s transport until the
scanner automatically grabs and pulls the document further into the transport. The scanner
will adjust the forward position of the document (not the center position) by moving it slightly
forward, then backward
6. Once the scanner is done automatically positioning the document to be scanned, tap the
Scan
button
located in the Main menu displayed on the Touch Screen

The scanner will then move the document forward into the transport and scan it. The location of
the scanned image is dependent on what the
scan-to-location
is set to.
Once the scanner is finished scanning the document, the scanner will either move the document
through the transport and deposit it into the
media output tray
or move it back out of the
transport onto the scan table. Where the scanner deposits a scanned document is dictated by
what the
Doc. Output
control is set to.
