4. Feed the external monitor’s DB15 male connector with cable into the scanner body through
the opening located in the back, right corner of the scanner (as viewed from front)

5. Standing on the scanner’s right side (as viewed from front) so as to be able to see down,
inside the scanner’s lower body, find the DB15 connector (female) located on the side
nearest you

6. Plug in the male end of the external monitor’s DB15 connector to the scanner’s female
DB15 connector
7. Replace the metal pressure plate
8. Close the scanner’s transport cover
9. Power ON the scanner and initiate the
start sequence
so as to display the
Main menu
on the
Touch Screen
Front of
Scanner
Back of
Scanner
Right Side of
Scanner
