Before shipping, we package every Baumüller device in such a manner that damaging 
occurring during transport is very unlikely.

6.1

Shipping

Modules are packaged at the factory according to the order.

h

Avoid heavy shaking and concussions during shipping.

h

Avoid static discharges on the electronic components of the module.

h

Only remove the module from the protective packaging immediately before assembly.

6.2

Unpacking

Upon receiving the still-packaged module:

Check to see if any shipping damages can be found!

If so:

h

Immediately file a complaint to the supplier. Confirm the complaint in writing and 
immediately contact the representative of Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH who is assigned 
to assist you.

CAUTION!

Danger due to electrostatic discharge!

 

The Safety Module (specifically its electronic components) can be damaged or totally 
destroyed if exposed to electrostatic discharges by being touched by hand.

Therefore:
