4.2.3 Graphics settings for Extended Desktop
Under the "Extended desktop" settings, "Notebook" can be set as the primary device (Graphics
Engine 1) and "Digital display" as secondary device (Graphics Engine 2). The contents displayed
on the two lines are different (Extended Desktop).
Resolution and color depth can be configured separately for each line via the device settings for
notebook and digital display.
Due to the operation of two different lines, for each line one of the internal serial interfaces COM
C and COM D on the APC620 must be activated in BIOS (under Advanced - Baseboard/Panel
Features - Legacy Devices) for the Automation 900 devices' touch screens. See Section 4.3.1
"Installation for Extended Desktop" on page 343 for information about installing the touch screen
driver.
