2.9.19 Hardware security key
B&R recommends a dongle (security key) based on the DS1425 from MAXIM (previously Dallas
Semiconductors) for software copy protection.
I/O address and IRQ
The setting for the I/O address and the IRQ can be changed in the BIOS setup (under
"Advanced" - submenu "I/O device configuration" setting "Parallel port").
Hardware security key
A hardware security key (dongle) can be inserted behind the
black cover.
