Enable dynamic DHCP leases
Select this option to enable a dynamic DHCP server.
IP Pool Start
Starting IP addresses allocated to the DHCP clients.
Use proper notation in IPv4 and IPv6 column.
IP Pool End
End of IP addresses allocated to the DHCP clients. Use
proper IP address notation in IPv4 and IPv6 column.
Lease time
Time in seconds that the IP address is reserved before
it can be re-used.

IPv6 Prefix Delegation
This is an advanced configuration option. IPv6 prefix delegation works automatically
with DHCPv6 – use only if different configuration is desired and if you know the con-
sequences.
If you want to override the automatic IPv6 prefix delegation, you can configure it in this
form. You have to know your Subnet ID Width (part of IPv6 address), see Figure below for
the calculation help – it is an example: 48 bits is Site Prefix, 16 bits is Subnet ID (
