If calibration is not completed successfully, try to 
calibrate again as instructed below.

  If you cannot proceed to the 5kg calibration procedure:

 

If the message “OUTSIDE 0kg CALIBRATION 
RANGE” appears during calibration and the weight 
monitor does not proceed to the 5kg calibration 
procedure, press the Zero Switch, and make sure 
that nothing is placed on the mattress platform and 
that no cables are caught in the mattress platform, 
etc.  Then press the Mode Switch to perform the 
0kg calibration procedure again.

If the message “OUTSIDE 5kg CALIBRATION RANGE” appears:

 

Press the Zero switch, and make sure that nothing 
but the 5kg weight is placed on the mattress 
platform and that no cables are caught in the 
mattress platform, etc.    Then press the Mode 
Switch to perform the 5kg calibration procedure 
again.

If the message “5kg SPAN IS OUTSIDE CALIBRATION RANGE” appears:

 

Press the Zero Switch.    Remove the reference 
weight from the mattress platform, and make sure 
that nothing is placed on the mattress platform and 
that no cables are caught in the mattress platform, 
etc. Then press the Mode Switch to perform the 0kg 
calibration procedure and the 5kg calibration
