Measurement of instrumental error
Turn the power switch on.
Press the Zero switch in the manual weight measurement mode to deduct the
tare.
Check that the displayed weight flashes with the display showing around “0”.
Touch the mattress lightly, and check that the displayed weight changes.
(Continuous measurement)
Press the Weight switch with nothing placed on the mattress.
Check that the measurement is started and that the reading is fixed at “0”.
Place the 1kg standard weight on the center of the mattress, and press the
Weight switch.
Check that the measurement is started and that the masured value is “1000g”
(
±5g).
Press and hold the Record switch for a while to have the measured value
recorded in the weight monitor.
Press the Screen Changeover switch to have the weight graph on the Trend 2
screen displayed.
Check that the measured value recorded in the weight monitor is plotted on the
graph.
Remove the 1kg standard weight from the mattress.
Remove the above procedure with the 3kg and 5kg standard weights (
±
5g).
Message indicating continuous measurement
immediately after tare deduction (the numerical
value flashes)
Check that the measurement is plotted on the graph.
