(2) Inspection of basic functions

Inspection of the basic functions of the incubator
(Preparation 1)
1. Connect the yellow skin temperature probe to
the skin temperature probe connecting port 1
on the sensor module.
2. Open the humidity chamber lever, pull down
the lever toward you, and take out the
humidity chamber. Take it out only after the
humidity chamber and the water inside have
cooled down sufficiently to avoid scalding
yourself. The humidity chamber is so heavy
that you should hold it with both your hands.
(Checking the power-on procedure)
Check:
(1) Does a numerical value appear on the
incubator air temperature display?
(2) Does a numerical value appear on the skin
temperature 1 display?
(3) Does a numerical value appear on the relative
humidity display?
(4) Does a humidity chamber off alarm appear?
(5) Are all the other alarms off?

“HIGH.”
3. Operate the power switch to activate the unit.
