Figure 15: Wiring diagram Synoptic tablet with 8 LED’s (004442) and an I/O module
EPROM’s used with Synoptic interfaces
EPROM SYN0196
This EPROM is used to show the status for all zones (01-96). If one 004440 or 004444 is used, the EPROM
will automatically show the status of the first 48 LED’s. When a second interface or circuit board is
connected, this will automatically show the status of zones 49 to 96.
When the synoptic tablet with 8 LED’s is used, the first tablet will show the status of the first 8 zones, the
second tablet will show the status of zones 9-16, etc. You can connect up to 12 synoptic tablets with 8
LED’s to each other.
Attention:
EPROM SYN0196 is available in two different versions: one for the AlphaVision NG I/O
module and one for the AlphaVision input + 8OC module.
EPROM SYN4996
This EPROM is used to show the status of zones 49 to 96. If one 004440 or 004444 is used, the EPROM
will show the status of zones 49 to 96. Connecting a second interface is useless. When the synoptic tablet
with 8 LED’s is used, the first connected tablet will show the status of zones 49-56, the second will show the
status of zones 57-64, etc. So, when using the SYN4996 EPROM, you can connect up to six 004442 tablets.
Attention:
EPROM SYN4996 is available in two different versions: one for the AlphaVision NG I/O
module and one for the AlphaVision input + 8OC module.
The wiring diagrams show how the different interfaces should be connected.
By default, the outputs work as follows:
zone closed, no alarm memory
OC not activated
zone open, no alarm memory
OC flashes (about 4Hz)
zone in alarm or alarm memory
OC activated

For special situations different EPROM’s are available. These EPROM’s will make the outputs work
differently. For more information, please contact the Alphatronics Sales department.
