F15# Print installation overview part 2
Function 15 prints out the second part of the installation overview. Press <?> <1> <4> <#>, followed by the
installer code. The following message will appear on the display:

F16# Test output
Function 16 is used to test an output, without causing an alarm. In most cases this will be optical and audible
signaling devices. Before executing the function, make sure to know which device is connected to which
output. If, for instance, a speaker is connected to output 9, you can test this speaker as follows:
Press <?> <1> <6> <#>, followed by a level 5 user code. The following message will appear on your
display:

Press <9> to activate output 9. The display will change to:

number: 9 ON
Output 9 is now activated. Press the <*> key to deactivate the output. If desired, it is possible to activate
another output by pressing its number, or exit to idle state by pressing the <*> key once again.
F17# Test batteries
The control panel and the I/O modules are all supplied with a back up battery. The control panel performs a
small battery test every 3 minutes and an extensive battery test every 18 hours. The batteries can also be
tested manually by executing function 17.
Press <?> <1> <7> <#>, followed by a level 4, 5 or 6 code. The following message will appear on your LCD
display:
Batteries are
being tested.
This message will remain on the display for several seconds. When all batteries are tested and functioning
correctly, the message will disappear. If there are any batteries malfunctioning, this will be reported on the
LCD display.
F18# Test LCD and LED's of a keypad
To test the LED’s and the LCD display of a keypad function 18 can be executed. Press <?> <1> <8> <#>,
followed by a level 5 or 6 code. When this is done, all LED’s will light up, the LCD segments of the display
will go black and the backlight of the keypad will light up. The lights and LED’s will be activated for 10
seconds. Pressing any key will stop the test.
F19# Test one zone
To test the functionality of a single detector, function 19 can be used. This is useful when only one detector
has to be tested. To test all detectors in the system, function 20 can be used.
