Sensitive equipment such as cameras, DVD players etc. should not be stored near the control unit or
power cable!
They can be damaged by electromagnetic fields.
Do not make any modifications to the manoeuvring device (mechanical or electronic).
Guarantee claims will not be acknowledged and, if modifications have been made to the manoeuvring
tool, we are no longer able to guarantee the device’s function.
Liability for damages of any kind, arising either from incorrect installation, operation or modification, is
excluded.
Operation - motor units
The manoeuvring tool is made up of two motor units (1 & 4). These are normally installed in front of the
caravan axle. Both units are identical, however they are not interchangeable.

1. To attach the rollers, plug the connecting pieces of the crank (6) into the hexagon (Fig. 6) of the right-
hand or left-hand travel unit and turn the crank (Fig. 5).
Function of the display
Function of the display:
The viewing window to display the contact pressure (Fig. 5A) on the side of each motor unit indicates
whether the drive rollers are pressing firmly enough on the caravan tyres to ensure the contact pressure
required for the drive operation.
If the viewing window shows a green area and the arrow
inside it points away from the wheel
The rollers are not touching or pressing the tyres or not
doing so sufficiently.
If the viewing window shows a green area and the arrow
inside it points towards the wheel
The rollers appear to be correctly positioned on the tyres
(limit 15 mm)
If the arrow in the viewing window points towards the
wheel and a red area Is visible
The rollers are in contact with the tyres, but in an
extreme position. This can mean that the caravan tyres
have too little air pressure in them or the travel unit
has moved out of position and a visit to a workshop is
needed to reposition the installation.
Operation - remote control
The remote control (8) is operated with a PP3 9-Volt battery. Moving the switch to "ON"- I (Fig. 9 A) acti-
vates the manoeuvring tool. As soon as the remote control is activated and a good connection has been
established with the control unit, the green LED (Fig. 9 C) on the remote control lights up constantly and
the remote control can be used to manoeuvre the caravan.
