Events
All activities performed by IMA are recorded in the Windows event
logs. To make it easier to view the events associated with these
components, you can access them via SAN Disk Manager.
When you expand the Events node in the navigation tree and click IMA
Events or Host Application Events, the right pane displays a list of all
the events associated with that component.
For each listed event, the right pane displays the following
information:
•
Event type (Information, Error, or Warning)
•
Date and time when the event occurred
•
Component that generated the event
•
A description of the event
To ensure that you don't have to enlarge and scroll the application
window to view the entire event description, you can double-click the
event to view all the details on the Event Properties dialog box.
(Alternatively, you can right-click the event and then click Properties.)
