AO2000
CONTINUOUS GAS ANALYZERS | OI/AO2000-EN REV. B
Gas connections
see section "Limas11 IR, Limas21 UV, Limas21 HW: Gas connections" (see
page 84)
Sample conditioning system requirements
Sample gas feed-in
The various applications require sample gas feed-in to the gas analyzer at
temperatures of 150 to 190 °C. The formation of condensation and sublima-
tion must be excluded without fail, since NO
2
and NH
3
are highly soluble in
water or can cause salt formation. In addition, any low-boiling hydrocarbons
present must be prevented from precipitating.
Sample gas inlet temperature (from the process)
150 to 190 °C
Sample gas filter
for the measurement of NO and NO
2
: sintered metal; for the measurement
of NH
3
: ceramic; pore size
≤
0.5 µm
Materials of the gas-bearing components
PTFE, PVDF or silicosteel
Installation note
Route the exhaust gas line declining to allow for condensate drain-off.
NOTE
Please refer to the special information for the gas line connection (see page
84), start-up (see page 133), calibration (see page 249) and shutting down
(see page 343)!
