5.3.6.7 Power supply
The ADS 150X is the power supply module of the main cabinet of the Aastra XS6.
The mains power supply voltage has the following characteristics:
•
Rated voltage: a format in 115V compatible with 110V, and a format in 230V compatible with
220V
•
Tolerances: +/- 10%
•
Frequency: 50 or 60 Hz
•
Power: 100 W
An optional, external 48V backup battery can be installed (optional) (see Autonomy section).
The ADS150X includes the following functional blocks:
•
A 48V converter providing the following voltages:
•
+5V / 5A
•
-5V / 0.1A
•
+12V / 0.15A. This value does not include the fan power supply current.
•
-12V / 0,55A,
•
-48V / 0,45A
•
70V / 0.06A ringer
•
A 48V rectifier supplying a 3A current, used as follows:
•
1.35 A for the converter
•
0.90 A for the DECT telephone sets and base stations
•
0.75 A to charge a 7.5 Ah battery for 10 hours providing 4 hours autonomy to the
system
•
A fan supplied with 12V DC by the converter draws the air through into the cabinet the left-
hand side.
Furthermore, the ADS150X generates an alarm in case of failure of the rectifier or of the converter.
5.3.6.8 Autonomy
An external backup battery can be optionally installed to protect the cabinet from a power supply
failure and prevent service disruption and the loss of critical data.
For a standard configuration the battery must conform to the following specifications:
Battery specifications
Capacity
Number of battery elements
4
Voltage
4 x 12V
(12V per battery element)
Capacity (amp/hours)
2.1 Ah
Battery autonomy
4 hours in the configuration without
backpanel
Note: batteries of battery cabinets in the Aastra price list have these characteristics.
