5.3.5.4 UCV2S/EXT2S12 motherboard
The basic cabinet contains the UCV2S main card and its expansion card EXT2S12, with the
following characteristics:

1 control unit

3 Ethernet 10/100 BASE TX accesses
•
1 Compact Flash Card (software of the Gateway and terminals, configuration’s data…); the
capacity of the COMPACT flash allows a new software release, a new firmware release of the
IP/SIP terminals to be downloaded and the buffer function (for tickets and billing) to be
integrated and the pictures storage. From version R5.1C, the memory size is 2Go. A new 4Go
compact Flash card is available with R5.4.

1 voice mailbox with 8 IVB accesses
•
4 accesses configurable in T0 or S0 or 2-channel DECT base stations
•
4 connections for digital terminals
•
8 connections for analogue terminals
•
4 3-way conference circuits
•
1 HDLC controller for setting up data communication in a B channel: component for the
software downloading in ISDN mode

announcements, music-on-hold, pre-off-hook, dissuasion message
5.3.5.5 Expansion cabinet
An expansion cabinet can be connected to the main cabinet. This expansion cabinet is connected
thanks to a flexible wire, thus allowing the two cabinets to be stacked or to be mounted side by side. In
the case of wall mounting, the expansion cabinet can only be installed beside the basic cabinet.
This expansion cabinet has its own power supply unit and three expansion slots, which only accept
the following cards: LN16, LA16, LA8, LN8, LH8, LM8, LH16.
RUCVS12 card:
The RUCVS12 card is installed instead of the UCV2S12 card in the expansion cabinet. Its main
function is to distribute and monitor the status of the line equipment bus and PCM synchronous trunks
at the positions of the expansion cards. It has an EEPROM memory connected to the UCV2S12 card
through the connection bus.
It includes a control interface for 3 equipment cards and 7 PCM trunks assigned to the 3 equipment
cards.
