5.3.4.4 UCV2S/EXT2S motherboard
The basic cabinet contains the UCV2S main card and its expansion card EXT2S, with the
following characteristics:
•
1 control unit
•
3 Ethernet 10/100 BASE TX accesses
•
1 Compact Flash Card (software of the Gateway and terminals, configuration’s data…); the
capacity of the COMPACT flash allows a new software release, a new firmware release of the
IP/SIP terminals to be downloaded and the buffer function (for tickets and billing) to be
integrated and the pictures storage. From version R5.1C, the memory size is 2Go.A new 4Go
compact Flash card is available with R5.4.
•
1 voice mail system with 8 access points,
•
2 T0 accesses,
•
4 accesses configurable in T0 or S0
•
8 connections for digital terminals
•
8 connections for analogue terminals
•
4 3-way conference circuits
•
4 alarm loop inputs and 4 alarm loop outputs
•
1 HDLC controller for setting up data communication in a B channel: component for the
software downloading in ISDN mode
•
1 music-on-hold and announcements
The UCV2S and EXT2S cards provide the interfaces with the following components:
•
one debugging console for the UCV2S card (1 DB9 console connector)
•
an external music source (RJ45 socket)
•
a general bell
•
alarm inputs (4)
•
Ethernet network: the Ethernet 10/100 BASE TX accesses (1 LAN RJ45 connector), allowing
the connection of IP/SIP terminals, SIP Trunk network, i2070, TWP applications in CTI mode
(VTI-XML protocol), administration, etc.
•
the RUCV card of an expansion cabinet
•
8 analogue terminal interfaces (the same as the LA16X ones)
•
8 digital terminal interfaces (the same as the LN16X/DL16 ones)
•
4 ISDN interfaces configurable in T0 (for network connection) or S0 (connection of S0
terminals
or
of
2-channel
DECT
base
stations)
Note: The AXS cabinet cannot deliver a 40 V remote supply over an S0 link

2 ISDN T0 interfaces
•
(On UCV1S, there is also a serial printer port (RJ45), but it is not active from R5.1. This port
doesn’t exist on UCV2S)
The UCV2S card provides the following functions:
•
data and voice switching
•
signal processing
•
voice mail server
•
defence (management of interface card status)
•
synchronisation
•
management of interface cards
•
remote control of an external device (delivering a voltage of +12V) such as door opener
•
supervision of the expansion cabinets: The power-on state of an expansion cabinet is
detected by recognising a synchronisation signal. The UCV2S card can force the general
"Reset" of the expansion cabinets, provided they are synchronised.
