5.3.6.4 Expansion cabinet
The AXS6 does not allow connecting an expansion cabinet.
5.3.6.5 UCV2S/EXT2S6 motherboard
The basic cabinet contains the UCV2S main card and its expansion card EXT2S6, with the
following characteristics:
•
1 control unit
•
3 Ethernet 10/100 BASE TX access
•
1 Compact Flash Card (software of the Gateway and terminals, configuration’s data…); the
capacity of the COMPACT flash allows a new software release, a new firmware release of the
IP/SIP terminals to be downloaded and the buffer function (for tickets and billing) to be
integrated and the pictures storage. From version R5.1C, the memory size is 2Go. A new 4Go
compact Flash card is available with R5.4.

1 voice mailbox with 8 IVB accesses
•
2 accesses configurable in T0 or S0 or 2-channel DECT base stations
•
2 connections for digital terminals
•
4 connections for analogue terminals
•
4 3-way conference circuits
•
1 HDLC controller for setting up data communication in a B channel: component for the
software downloading in ISDN mode
•
Downloading messages : music-on-hold, pre-off-hook, dissuasion message
Power supply of UCV2S cards:
The power supplies are not provided by the backpanel connector, but through a dedicated connector.
The UCV2S6 card receives the following over this specific connector:
•
+5V input for internal circuits
•
+12V input generally used to supply power to external equipment
•
- 48V input for analogue and digital terminals
•
70V AC input for the ringing current of analogue terminals
