Autonomy of a 2XS cabinet:
The Aastra XS battery cabinet guarantees:
•
2 hours of autonomy for an empty AXS
•
1 hour of autonomy, no matter the configuration of analogue or digital terminals, but without
digital Aastra 5370 and 5380.
Beyond these requirements, a specific battery is required.
One 30 A.h (27.2 A.h exactly) can guarantee up to 12 hours of autonomy for a maximum consumption
of 100 W. It will be fully charged between 10 and 24 hours. 30 A.h is the maximum capacity
recommended for an A2XS.
For the battery to be fully charged in less than 10 hours, the capacity of the installed battery should not
exceed 15 A.h.
The table below can be used to look up the type of battery installed on an A2XS, according to the total
power consumed out of 48V and the required autonomy.

OK with a specific battery cabinet – loading: > 10 hours. Connect the rectifiers in
parallel.
IMPOSSIBLE, the maximum capacity is 15 A.h per AXS cabinet, i.e. 30A.h for an
A2XS.
Important: If a specific battery is used, a special installation wiring is required to place the two power
supply units connected to the batteries in parallel.
