8.0 Labels
Figure 20 illustrates labels on the the Self-Retracting Devices (SRDs) and their locations. All labels must be present on the SRD.
Labels must be replaced if they are not fully legible. Information provided on each label is as follows:
A
1) Never anchor SRD level with or below the back dorsal harness connection point. 2) Read instructions. 3) Inspect
Snaphook and Lifeline. 4) Inspect locking action of SRD. Should hear an audible noise when SRD locks. 5) All labels
should be present and legible. 6) Control Lifeline while it retracts into the SRD. 7) Inspect Snap Hook Impact Indicator.
Do not use if impact is indicated.
B
1) Read instructions. 2) Inspect Snaphook and Lifeline. 3) Inspect locking action of SRD. Should hear an audible noise
when SRD locks. 4) Control Lifeline while it retracts into the SRD. 5) All labels should be present and legible. 6) Do not
repair. 7) Service and repair should only be performed by Capital Safety authorized personnel.

EN360 SRD Fall Arrest Specifications: 1) Maximum Capacity is one person not exceeding 140 kg with a Maximum

EN341 Descent Specifications: 1) One person maximum. 2) Always anchor SRD overhead. 3) RSQ Descent Speed Range
