NAT

PAT
to apply NAT or PAT to the LAN port.
SUPERNAT makes optimal use of available IP addresses by enabling the
system to automatically switch between PAT and NAT when multiple
IP addresses are assigned to the OfficeConnect Gateway. Select
SUPERNAT
if you want the OfficeConnect Gateway to determine
when it is best to use NAT or PAT.

Intelligent PAT
Select the appropriate option (
Disabled, Enabled
) from the Intelligent
PAT drop-down. When Intelligent PAT is enabled, it will intelligently
attempt to determine where an unsolicited incoming packet should be
delivered

Select the name of the NAT Policy you want to modify from the
NAT
Policy Name
drop-down menu.

Modify the appropriate fields for your NAT/PAT Policy.

When you finish making your modifications, click
Apply
and then click
SaveAll
on the OfficeConnect Gateway menu bar to permanently save
your changes.
To Delete a
NAT/PAT Policy
To delete a NAT/PAT Policy, perform the following steps:

Select
Delete
from the
NAT Policy Edit Mode
drop-down menu.

Select the name of the NAT Policy you want to delete from the
NAT Policy
Name
drop-down menu.

Click the
Delete
button and click
OK
when the system prompts you to
verify that you want to delete the policy.

Click
Apply
and then click
SaveAll
on the OfficeConnect Gateway menu
bar to permanently save your changes.
Firewall
Configuration
The Firewall Configuration page lets you configure or modify the packet
filtering firewall options used by the OfficeConnect Gateway. Packet
filters are used primarily in networks that cross organizational or
corporate boundaries. They control inter-network data transmission by
accepting or rejecting the passage of specific packets through network
interfaces based on packet header information.
