Problems
Use the information in the following table to identify and resolve LAN
connection problems.
ALERT
LED remains lit (red).
An internal failure. Notify your Service
Provider or reseller.
ALERT LED continues
to flash (amber).
A version
incompatibility
was detected
between the Voice
Expansion unit
and the Base unit.
Or
An upgrade is
being performed
on the Voice
Expansion unit by
the Base unit.
Contact your Service
Provider or network
supplier if the ALERT
LED continues to
flash.
PHONE STATUS
LED not lit (green)
when Offhook (phone
is being used).
Phone not
detected.
Check that the cable
for the telephone is
fully plugged into
the correct Phone
connector on the
Expansion unit.

LAN cable is fully plugged
into the LAN port. Check
that the other end is fully
plugged into the local LAN
connection.
The LAN cable has been
damaged.
Replace the cable.
