JUMPER #

DESCRIPTION

W63

Install W63 to connect the STD bus auxiliary
ground (AUXGND) signal to the STD bus
logic ground (GND). These two grounds
must be attached for proper operation of the
RS-232-C drivers and receivers.

Ziatech-

supplied card

cage

and

power

supply

assemblies already connect AUXGND with
GND in the backplane; therefore, installation
of W63 is not necessary. Remove W63 to
disconnect AUXGND from GND on the
ZT 8809A. Factory default installs W63.
